Why Tune In
what's our show about
a no filter conversation. bringing you what others won't.
Still Talkin is Sunday conversation from San Diego - politics, local news, accountability, and whatever else is on our minds. No script. No corporate polish. Just two hosts and guests who say the quiet part out loud. We focus on Saving San Diego and California. Each show opens with The Reichert Report featuring Amy Reichert, the best independent journalist is San Diego. Once the week's Top Local Stories are discussed, there's no telling where we go from there..
the hosts
Jared Basso and Dave Stall - Dave is a longtime San Diego radio and television personality and 30-plus-year automotive industry veteran. He is known for his straightforward, practical talk. Jared brings a sharp political edge, a junkie for Geo-Politics but emphasizes Saving California. He has spoken publicly about the opportunity Dave gave him to take a larger on-air role and about their shared affection for traditional AM radio, as well as cars and anything vintage.
the reichert report
Each show opens with Amy Reichert briefing us on San Diego and California politics, public policy, and government accountability. Amy walks us through the week's biggest local and statewide stories - education, immigration enforcement, media coverage, public trust, and alleged waste or fraud - in a direct, investigative style. She is a San Diego licensed private investigator, citizen journalist, and chairwoman of Restore San Diego. You can follow her work @amyforsandiego on X and IG.
